Wanted - Mark 1 drivers side headlight

I have just started a new job, im working at a Citroen garage in Cornwall. In the corner of my bodyshop was a 19RD that no one had time for. After a lot of working after hours I have got her near ready for the road, the only thing stopping me from getting a MOT is the drivers side headlight, cant get my hands on one. Was so close, found one threw a online scrapyard searcher, £35 delivered thought my luck was in until it turned up smashed to bits, damn there poor packaging .

She's a real gem that deserves to cruise again, only 64k on the clock with a full service history, Please help me find a Drivers side headlight.........

Shouldn't be an issue as a Mk2 headlight should fit, and they're still plentiful. Most of us have several (I know I do!) but postage isn't very easy (as your scrapyard discovered!).

Ime sure you will find that a Mk 2 one will do and there are a few on ebay. That is your best bet.
Any piccies? Good luck with your restoration. Mk1s are scarce now.

so what is the difference if any between MK 1 and 2 head lamps then, i cant think what they could be, but then again i do seem to get plenty of them there senior moments these days

All BX headlamps are interchangeable

Thanks for all your advice, I couldn't see much difference between the two, but I didn't want to risk buying one to find out it didn't fit.
I will upload some pictures as soon as I have got her on the road, looks just like yours Andy, same colour, same wheel trims, only difference is I don't have spot lights.
