2x Steel Wheels For Sale.

Hi all,

I have found 2 steel wheels in the shed that need a new home.

I think they could have been originally off a Peugeot, but they fit the BX fine.

The tyres are cracked & would need replacing, but the wheels themselves are, apart from some surface rust, in good condition.

They are the type that have holes in them.

£5.00 each or make me a offer.

I can have the tyres removed & disposed of if need be.

Collection only from east Manchester.

The tyres have now been removed from these. If no one wants them then they'll be going for scrap.

Hi David,
I don't want to scupper a sale for you, but from the photo's I can only see the 'Hub-Hole' and the four holes for the 'Wheels-Bolts' !

Therefore albeit they may be okay for the front fitment on a BX, how would you fit the rims to the rear (With-out modification) as the rear-hubs should have a disc to hub retaining set-screw with an integral wheel positioning location pin and as such a BX wheel rim has an extra hole for this feature !

Thanks for pointing that out. In all honesty I hadn't noticed that & only tried them on the front of mine. Although if the positioning pin was removed from the rear & replaced by a screw then they would go on the back fine.

So what is the point of the pin, if it is not required on the front wheels, only the back ?
