I think polishing Timex would be rather like sanding the patina of a rare and valuable piece of antique furniture; it has a kind of post-apocalyptic charm just as it is.

Fred Polishes up quite well, as I hope Mitch the 4x4 will. I know it'll disappoint some but Timex has finally reached the stage where if I don't do some major work soon something will fail big time and kill it, so it'll hopefully get a lot of structural work this winter, plus some cosmetics.
