Surely a set of 'steelies' would serve to keep going? The rolling O/D of pretty much the entire range must be similar, only difference is width. A 175/60 will certainly fit on a 165/70 width rim, the steely std rim seems to be 5.5J X 14". These must be much easier to source.

Yes, you're right of course, and I do have some steelies, too many in fact, but I have mislaid the wheel bolts amongst the myriad of car bits that seem to have accumulated over the years, and the Speedlines look so much better and I only need one.

It's great to get responses and to know that people in the BX community communicate with each other, but regrettably so far I have been unable to get my hands on some wheels. Does anyone have any graphites they'd like to sell? Thanks in anticipation.

I've been lucky and had the wheels repaired, at WheelWorks near Gatwick. I thought they were too badly damaged. I can recommend WheelWorks if anyone requires wheel refurbishing or repairs. My spare is a silver, so if anyone has a graphite that they want to straight swap with my silver, let me know.
