Wanted: Front Strut

Does anyone have a descent Front strut they could sell me? My seeping strut is now a waterfall.

I have a good front strut here which came from a 91 TGD with 100k's good cond nice and smooth no leaks. Not sure which side still has the top plate on it, will check.

Doesn't matter which side - the struts are the same!

and the strut tops are the same/not handed, if you look under the bonnet of a BX ( if you can find one )
both spheres point towards the O/S UK drivers side,

i know as i just the other day checked as i sold Dom a strut with top still attached

Having fitted this front strut back in April, I now realise that actually both sides were leaking. The o/s is not as bad as the replaced n/s was, but would prefer not to have a leaking ship.

Does anyone else have a good front strut available for sale?

Very sad to hear of Citronut's passing. I've crossed his path on several occasions and he's always been very helpful. A kind and generous soul, I'm sure will be missed by many.

Thanks for your message... and very sorry for extremely slow reply. I'm a BX owner, but not a very frequent BX user (I really don't need a car). Replacing this strut has been on my list of things to do for a while and it's coming around again. I'm glad to see there's a reply to my request.

Do you still have the offered front strut? What's it's condition? And what would you like for it?

I'm actually potentially going to be down D&G way next weekend, so could pick it up.

I also have front struts should you need one both from same car both good with no leaks, can post, they are from a 91 tzd turbo. £30 each plus post.

That could be great. I wonder what else you have? Do you have your regulator out? Mines leaking a wee bit. I was planning on taking it off and repairing it, but if you have one, maybe swap it and then have a spare.

Also sort of looking out for a bosch fuel pump and injectors if your TZD had those?

Hi jake, i can do the front strut for you, i have a pressure regulator known good with no leaks, i dont have a bosch fuel pump but i do have a good lucas pump and i have a good set of injectors, all from same car which is currently running.

Strut £30
Pressure regulator £40
Lucas pump £40
Set of 4 injectors £60 (usually £60 each )

Hi, that's great. I'll steer clear of the pump/injectors, but thanks. I'm really after a bosch pump, but not a lot wrong with my lucas one.

Well if I could take the strut and regulator that would be great. I need an offside strut if you're going to send the complete assembly (with mount)?
