These cars are getting rare and how cheap is that!

How many miles has it done Tim, quite a few I would expect at that price!

depends what you call a few, I think 118k isnt too bad for a car like this, designed for the motorway with distance comforts! :D

That`s no mileage at all and it looks like a really tidy example. Have a word with Ian Fearn, he`s just sold one and I think he said he had loads of enquiries. He should be able to tell you the best place to advertise it. Is that your silver Vectra in the back ground btw?

no way! thats when i lived at home. I've just bought my own house.
That vectra is long gone anyway, 51reg with 86k on it, worth nothing! Dad has an 06 vectra which is currently having miles poured on to it!
Think Ian is busy squirelling away on his 2cv in the garage until it gets cold. I'll ask then!

Tim, I know of a 16V that will be for sale soon-ish. I`ll let you know nearer the time if you`re interested.

Yep! A silver one that`s in the process of having a top end rebuild. The 1.9TD MIGHT (not definately, but might) be up for grabs too, though someone has first dibs if it is. That`s also `undergoing work as we speak`, just ordered a part for it (coming tomorrow from local Cit dealer) and will be a very smart car shortly. Rear suspension problem sorted (thanks Sleepy), new battery, new bit getting fitted tomorrow and will quite likely be wearing a black leather interior too which will compliment it`s nice silver alloys. I may even try and re-fit the head unit and CD multi changer if I`m feeling brave.
It`s hopefully only a few small jobs away from an MOT certificate and it`ll be road ready.

This is a very sound car. I ran it for a week before Tim had it. It persuaded me i needed a Xantia V6.

With hindsight i should have bought this one. Stupidly though i paid twice as much for a car that wasnt twice as good.

Divide the price by 5 and you might get shot - or am I wrong?

That's what I mean - 10 year old car - looks like a 1.6 with badges - may go well but has it any more value bearing in mind its complexity and fuel consumption.

What will the trade offer?
