I have just driven it to Bath, and it drove without a hickup. Its just the oil leak thats the concerning bit, but im now very sure its the camshaft oil seal as the oil is being deposited on top of the fuel pump and thermostat area, so must be coming out at some pressure from that end of rocker cover/camsaft seal. Ill order a new camshaft seal and rocker cover seal and fit that and fingers crossed, the leak will be no more. Im thinking of sorting out all of the issues before selling it on, but if someone wants to discuss the car with me, then PM me and ill send my mobile number.

Check the breathers are clear, also it might be worth looking at the bearings or clamps which secure the camshaft. These bolt to the head and should be sealed with a gasket glue or similar, if not sealed they can leak.

As far as I am aware, the car has been sold. I understand that DLM of this parish is due to collect it sometime soon.

Sorry I forgot to update on this. I thought it would just go onto the next page's and be forgoton about. So the car is sold, as I spoke to David, and he plans to come and collect. He has plans to sort all the problems out and keep it healthy long term and thats what the car deserves so im happy.

Yes, I'm looking forward to meeting it. DLM is chuffed to bits. I pointed it out on the site a couple of weeks ago and when I came back from the kitchen some time later, he was scrolling the pictures up and down with that look in his eye.
