BX diesel estate wanted!

Post by cavmad »

Without going into the wheres and whyfors about me selling my old BX diesel estate I`m now `officially` after another one.
Calibra is brilliant but two doors & only two rear seat belts don`t make it an ideal family hack so I`m after another BX diesel estate.
Preferably a TZD though any model considered but MUST have a long MOT and be mechanically great. I`m not bothered about the odd dent or knock/scrape but it`ll be pressed into immediate service so needs to be reliable. Anyone got one or know of one?
I have a nice BX GTi with long MOT to deal with if wanted or will buy a fairly priced estate out right.

That's the problem, diesel estate's are very hard to find, especially turbo's.

Having been keeping an eye out for the last few weeks I agree with you there Ken.
I`m sure something will turn up though at some point and I`ll always find something to knock about in until it does.
I`ve still got the GTi and a Daewoo as well as the Calibra (plus others) so I`m not really stuck for wheels but a BX estate is the ideal daily runner for me.

citroen bx tzd turbo diesel estate
L reg red in colour tow bar fitted and roof racks
158k miles taxed till and of march
good runner but needs cv joint, tyres, and wheel bearings for mot

Cheers `TNS`, a current MOT would be ideal (haven`t the time, skills or patience for MOT failures I`m afraid) but I appreciate your efforts mate. Please inform me if you find anymore, I`d be most grateful.

I`ve just re-read that and obviously last night`s alcohol consumption hasn`t worn off enough yet
I wish it had because I need to go out and do a few things in the car, not least of which is to go and view a very interesting vehicle I spotted for sale yesterday  (non BX).
