... but IF I decide to sell my GTi Auto (with air con), would anyone have a (very) decent diesel auto they'd swap for it?

Sometime early next year?

At 131,000 miles, an Auto conversion of your estate would be the best way forward. If you can find another aircon rig then you'd have a dreamspec BX.

I've got the majority of parts required to do an aircon conversion. I was going to do my TZD but have pretty much decided not to now.

So, am I to consider Operation Dreamspec for 2007 then? An auto, 1.9 diesel with air con?

Just out of interest, how much would it cost to have aircon retrofitted by some of the club members including all parts etc.... would love to have aircon in my tzd as another summer like last year will always make me drive the other car as it has aircon.....

I've posted a reply in the technical section to that question, Mulley.
