Lots and lots, im a bit of a perfectionist, I wont be happy until everything works, theres no scratches no dents etc etc. Sometime by 2009 maybe then?!

Hey, this forum doesnt tell you of any changes! agh!

I use it on a regular occasions. It ideally needs rear arm bearing which i have the kits for but never fitted, as the advert says the front to rear pipes are fine but if i was keeping it then i would replace them. also come as spares with the car. Water pump possibly whirring but nothing too bad. Little odd bits would make this a lovely car. central locking only works on the passenger door properly and the sunroof motor is suspect but works and I have a good spare to include with sale. Also have a 2nd fan for keeping it cooler in the summer days. Few dents down one side but only cheap to have these removed. with the arrival of the mehari I have stopped working on the 16v and turned my attentions and funds to the new one ready for the hottest summer on record (apparently) The 16v has had a fair bit of work done and a good amount spent on it that wont need to be done for years now.
Make me an offer, (serious ones though not 50p) This is another car i wont make a profit on, but why change the habbit of a life time!
Cheers

TIM

P.s Thanks Yan, the car was delivered very well - highly recomended for anyones next financial drain!

Do it reanimation ;)

Incidentally Capri, my 16v is my daily driver and I do a LOT of miles in it - I'm not saying it's ideal, obviously I would like to keep it garaged, polish it at the weekends, etc... but I'm just saying that a 16v can make a good daily driver. Mine is parked on the street in all weathers... I would still say it's my pride and joy though :)

Hey DJoptix. :)

I have just been to look at a new (older) MR2 today that neds a lot of work, so this BX really is the sensible option with what i have planned this year. and if its MOT'd till Nov 07 that helps. I defo need to get down to look at it if thats ok.

Fair enough mate, of course. I'm not saying you're wrong to do that by any means! It's just I'd rather have something less special so that I didn't have to worry about it as much as I would with a 16v. :D

Yes I know. But I'm getting rid of that in order to buy another daily driver. :)

And yes, I am aware of the possibility that sir may have been talking about the Capri but I chose to ignore that possibility. *pops burnout, slips back end out and squeals off into sunset, Hollywood-stylee*

The one into which every Capri owner has an image of driving off in his/her mind. It's filed under 'Cheesy Images To Go With Your Car', along with handbrake turns into piles of empty cardboard boxes, and extreme sideburn/moustache combinations.
