Hatch Boot for free

Post by BX Bandit »

I will shortly be fitting a new boot lid/door to my Hatch TD and need to dispose of my current one. It's in Ven Red and comes with the earlier type Whale Tail type spoiler (I think they were fitted to a 19 or maybe 16 TRS.... ??) It's a black rubber type. The boot lid does need some small spots of filler in 3 places (max 5 pence piece size) and one end of the spoiler needs re-attachment. Gratis

It`s how many years since he had a decent car. I`ve heard that the 16V comes free with the hatchback hence he can`t get rid of it

Just to say, if anyone wants this delivered, then if you cover the cost of my fuel I might be able to oblige. :)

The 25 sticker actually quite a historic emblem for BXs. It harks back to the BX test track days and based on a 1mile sprint, 25 represents the number of times a BX can lap the Cavalier Calibra, 25 times the the fuel economy, 25 times less spent on getting the car recovered after breakdown, 25 times less spent on repairs and ultimately 25 times the street cred.... 8)

Thanks Phil, the 16v aint too bad at all...needs some sorting out but nothing major, £300 should see it pretty well sorted for a while.. :D
