Maybe not so kind Stuart - can't see me getting near Brighton anytime soon. However, consider the rear lights and old documents yours and I'll keep them until we fix something up - via Tim's van maybe? Don't suppose you ever get up to the Midlands do you?

Thanks Phil. I very much doubt that I'll be up your way, but if you don't mind holding onto them for now I'm happy to wait until the National - I'm sure Tim will swing by before then!

I was the lucky benefactor of Phil's generosity, The bodywork & lots of other bits n' bobs are now in my safe hands.

It's people like Phil who keep my faith in old cars, it would have been so much easier to just take them too the tip, but his thoughtfulness & kindness will keep a rare beast of a Mk1 on the road.
