non bx sorry Citroen XM 2.5 TD

I have been offered an XM 2.5 TD estate in Maroon in part ex but am full to brimming though I wouldn't mind helping this guy out.

Apparently it has £9000 worth of bills only just run out of MOT but has 170,000 on the clock. They'll do far more if the money is spent on them which this one apparently has had.

I haven't pics I could rustle some up just want to gauge interest on what is a superb car. They have a solid following and still make over a £1000 when properly sorted.

All 2.5 TD's came in manual form..an auto was tested apparently but couldn't handle the beast of an engine that is the 2.5...It has a hydraulic clutch which was recently replaced on this car..

Any idea what needs doing for the MOT Leroy? Pics may help shift it too. I can't afford it this month, but may be interested towards the end of next month if you're still not shut of it.

Beauty of an engine the 2.5 - just a shame they never came in xantias. Wonder if it'd fit the bx? That'd be just plain mental...

How's the VSX treating you by the way mate?

no pics at present but will try to get the owner to forward some..
I wanted to get shot of it before the end of this month as I have a fair few part exes and some cars will be out of tax this month too.

the xant's had a new cambelt and waterpump and i've been using it. Clutch bites high but otherwise is doing well. MOT due soon shouldn't want more than a set of discs and pads at the front..
