Wanted: BX jack

Post by djoptix » Wed Apr 25, 2007 3:38 pm

Just picked up my new AX and it has a crap folding-type jack. Does anyone have a spare BX one, the expanding tower type? AFAIK the jacking points are the same. I think the BX jack is a good bit of design, would quite like one for this car too...

Thanks mate, I have a PM to chase up but if it doesn't work out I will take a trip over to you. How are those wheels working out? Did you decide to paint them up? I wished I'd kept them after the rear arms started to go on the 16v and the rears went bald in about a month

Thanks Vanny, I think mr Arctic is going to sort me out. But - edit to this thread - I also need a wheelnut wrench to go with said jack! - Anybody?

Indeed, I think the standard wrench is crap for actual wheelnuts but it's just the job for winding the jack up because it's dead quick! I think Mr Arctic is kindly going to sort me with one of those too, though. Legend :)
