It just needs a head gasket doing, mind you they can be scrapped for less than that.

Hi all,

Back in the land of the living at last. What with diabetes and doing the house up for long term grand children stay I'm well knackered.

This TZD on ebay - I know it's not an estate - that would be favourite for me - but how much do you reckon a head gasket job would be now.

Motor is down in Diss - 20 miles from me so I've mailed seller to ask to see it.

Top-shade windscreen too! Very nice.

Doing the head-gasket would be fairly easy, especially as it's not overheated. The main pain is access rather than complexity.

Worth it for the 12 months MOT.

Getting the sheared-off headbolt out might be a pain...depending on how far down it has sheared!
