My TXD Estate for sale

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Hi, in order to make way for 'another project', my ex-Ken Newbold owned BX TXD estate is up for grabs.

It is a 1993, 135k mile car and the only thing that is 'wrong' with it is a noisy strut. Everything works as it should. It's had two services in the last six months. It burns no oil, loses no LHM and is ultra reliable. MOT September and Taxed until the end of August. Easily achieves 44 mpg, and more on long runs. It comes with a newly acquired radio/minidisc player and I will also throw in a CD auto-changer for £30. It also has a tow bar, parcel shelf with blinds, good set of mats and rear head rests. It is a steel bonnet BX too. And it's recently had a new windscreen.

PM if interested. I'm looking for £425. I can e-mail more pics too if anyone's interested.

I know Tim, but I still have a lovely BX... and who knows, I might end up with another estate one day?! But I have to do what I have to do.

Phillio...forgive my ignorance, but is that the 1769 engine? Never had a TXD before.

An engine with a million miles in it as long as you're not in a hurry.

Just an update....

Spoke with Phillip this afternoon, twice. Going to see motor tomorrow-he's fairly close to me - expect to buy it there.

If I get that it'll be something of a dream come true....never should have got rid of my last BX. There's nothing to replace it!
