1991 BX GTI 8V White for sale, Tidy

Post by pinfold »

Hi

Following the purchase of my 16v GTI last year, we have now decided to let our beloved 8v go. (Wifes instructions)

The car is a J plate 91, has 140,000 on the clock. and is M.O.T'd til September 2007, and tax til August.

Car is very clean and tidy for its age

It has full electrics, mirrors, sunroof, windows etc all in working order

I bought the car four years ago from our freinds citroen garage in Stafford (Chevron car centre, well worth a visit) when it had done 90,000.

At the time it had a new clutch, since then it has been run daily.

The car comes equipped with a tow bar, and has all the associated electrics.

It has also got a full set of new firestone tyres!

I will take some pics and add to this post later this week, however if you cant wait, then send me a message and i will email.

I am looking for arround £300 for the car, but open to offers, it has to go!

Matt

Thanks Tim

This is the car that started the bug! when we bought it off our freind at his Chevron gargage in Stafford, we had a BMW before that!!

He convinced me that these are very underated cars!

Never looked back, now i have a 16v, can be seen in the background on one of the pictures, and blimey does that go! (Standrad model aswell)

have had a great time getting tips off everyone on the technical pages here on the club website, and getting to know the car.

I would like the car to go to a good home ideally to someone who has bx's and would look after it.

Matt.

P.s. I past a grey diesel Bx on the a556 last week whilst on the way to work and a blast of the horn, two bearded chaps (probably pipe smokers) turned round and waved back to me, you would never get that with BMW!!!
