Was this car on ebay a few months back?

It rings a lot of bells.

If only it was a manual, i'd be snapping your hands off.

Well, yes, it was for sale on eBay a while back (around March, I think) and I travelled to Oswestry to pick it up. Have invested in it since somewhat!

Sorry, but I have had to withdraw my BX from ebay because, joy of joys, our move has been delayed, until early next year... So the BX will be up again in February, probably - and it will have a new MOT as from December (I hope!)...

Keep the faith!

Good ol' Photoshop! I would do it for real, if I had the means! How does one put a pic up in a message, as you just did? :?:

Hi Philip,
hope you don;t mind, but I posed this on the 16V forum, as I think it will be also appreciated over there, hope you don't mind (?) - I credited the source, and artist :D

To put a picture up, you just need to get the properties of a picture, ie it already has to be hosted, your picture is:

And you just put it between the IMG tags, when posting on here there are usually buttons that do this for you.

So you click on Img* which gives you "[/img]" and then on Img which gives you the "[img]" at the end of the address, so the one above would be:

"[/img]"http://www.bxclub.co.uk/images/philbx3.jpg[img]"

Without the qoutes!

When you post it the tags dissapear, and voila, the picture appears, as if by magic.

Same for the URL button, if your wanting to post an e-bay link or similar.

P.S - yep, I checked the a number plate site, and yes it was for sale, but after tax and a transfer fee, seems to weigh in at about £1250......

Cheers

Dan

That's a lot of money for a plate... You never know, ABX 16V might come up one day!

Thanks for the pic posting advice. And, no, I certainly don't mind the 16v site getting the pic - the credit is appreciated. I did the same for my Visa GTi (when I still had it)... I'll see if I can dig out the pic.
