Talked to the fella that owned that Ian a few months back now. He still had it then and presume he still does. He used to be about on here a bit actually and I think he owns a 16V BX too.
Can't say the last time I saw a 4x4 on the road (excpet for your old one), any chance of resurrecting your's Dean?
Oh, supposedly the local Citroen specialist had a 4x4 estate in his yard which was an ex-courtesy car, keep meaning to go up there and see if he still has it.

Do you mean Keith Davis? He's had a red estate for years. It was a courtesy car (dis-courtesy???) and was a right old mess!cavmad wrote:Oh, supposedly the local Citroen specialist had a 4x4 estate in his yard which was an ex-courtesy car, keep meaning to go up there and see if he still has it.
Would be a useful source of spares although Citroen still sell anything you need for your 4x4 as i bought loads of 4x4 specific stuff over the years.

Hasn't Brian King got a 4x4 aswell??
I seem to remember he did..
Sorry Dean, I'm sure I saw your 4x4 at a CCC do a while back, either Huntingdon or maybe Stratford?? Didn't seem like 4 years or more ago!
Unless I'm confused again and it wasn't your car at all??

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

That's the fella Ian. I don't recall seeing his 4x4 estate but have heard about it. last time I went was about 2 or 3 years ago now and he had a couple of estates round the back as well as a few spares kicking about including an immaculate Hurricane interior in his loft.

Ah, yes, that makes sense. See, when you get to my age, the memory just dies!Ian_Fearn wrote:Doc, that 4x4 you saw at Stratford was probably mine. The black one?
