Hi I've got a set from a '92 GTi (That's 93 model year I think) that were painted a dark graphite metallic when I got them but if you're handy with silver spray paint they'd come up OK.

You can have them for nowt.

I could bring them to the National or if you're down this way, you can collect from Chelmsford. I've also got a VGC Continental tyre (185/60/14) on a GTi steel rim if you want that too... (good as a decent spare if nothing else)

I'd say respray needed. Why not wait until the National? Simonbx17 has first dibs on them, but he said to mention them to you too in case he doesn't come. Now he is, I guess I should give him first refusal... We can sort it out then, yes? :)

pm sent.....mallion these are rare wheel trims and are correct for you gti so if you still want them, it's up to i won't mind if you want them......

i would scotch pad them to clean and key them and then spray either plastic primer or just spray them in a decent silver not wheel spray paint silver or they will look to bright and plenty of laquar to seal them.
Current.

What he says! A nice job actually, if you take your time. A rewarding result too if you get it right. Just, as Simon says, use an 'aluminium/powder coat - type silver, nothing too brash. Better to err on the side of grey.
