Ebay seller

Post by MULLEY » Thu Jul 19, 2007 8:43 pm

Spotted a large stock clearance by this seller, but wasnt impressed with his postage costs. I've e-mailed him to see if he was prepared for me to go visiting rather than paying daft postage.

I mentioned that i may buy quite a few bits & he has come back to me wanting to know what i want.

I thought i would ask if there was anyone on here that wants any of the spares he has currently advertised & then i could go fetch them for you???

Righto, spoken to chap & this stuff has got to go soon, so he suggested that i go down sometime during the week to have a look. He didnt state prices but did say that he would be giving away stuff, very cheap & thought that buying a pallet load would be my best bet.

Not sure how big a pallet is, does anyone fancy going down with me to have a gander to see if the cost of the parts can be shared. I wont be able to find out until Monday what day i can go down. If anyone is interested, let me know which day is best for you.

Cheers

p.s. He is in Lichfield which is before Birmingham??

Lichfield is just off the A5, about 15-20 miles North East of Birmingham!

I would expect a full palletload of that stock is going to be pretty pricey!!!
You could easily fit 100 BX headlamps on one pallet, and at £9-99 a time that's hpoing to be the best part of £1000  Obviously, other parts will be cheaper, but some will also be much more expensive too!

I think you will be talking a LOT of money for just ONE palletload!!

I will give him a bell on Monday & ask about prices, i dont have a spare Grand lying about.

However, he did say that the reason for selling his entire stock (he does other cars as well), is that he is losing his storage, so needs rid of everything, so perhaps a pallet may be only £500 or less, here's hoping, not that i've got £500 spare either......
