If i'd not just bought a new car i'd be buying this, ripping the air con out and then selling it again.

I've just thought, the 16v aircon is a different setup to the tizzy dee model.

Anybody know how different it is?

Not very. There are a few differences on every different air conditioned BX. The 16V has a slightly different refrigerant load and condenser but they are all much of a muchness and they will all fit given a bit of thought.
My TZD runs a TZI system. Despite the lower RPM, passengers go from green (at my driving) to blue (hypothermia) within about half a mile.

Do I detect someone's bought a VW and not told us here?

Ian, if the 16V is half decent I reckon you'd get your dosh back after you've had the air con out of it.

Am I missing something here?
I see no mention of aircon?
I do see some awful piece of tat stuck to the front bumper, and rubbish modding to fit some crap front spot lights though.

Thats the fourth VERY early P2 thats hit the bay in a month....
It looks red too, not pink.
I'd be tempted if the engine hadn't been rebuilt 20K ago.

I believe they have spotted the a/c sliders above the heater knobs. :|

On closer inspection, you're quite right!
It does indeed have the sliders, although so does my valver, and that doesn't have air-con!

Why would you want to butcher a perfecty useable bx for another?

I would buy it and use it as it is, and have some fun along the way, just take that stupid front bumper off.

It's not like suggesting it get's scrapped. What I meant was to buy the 16V, remove the air-con and then sell the 16V off as a going concern to someone.
