GT really really has to go now..... Mountainman?

Buy or sell parts etc. Please put 'Wanted' in the title if it is a request for parts.

GT really really has to go now..... Mountainman?

Post by adamskibx »

Right.

I am rather concerned about mountainman. He was suppose to collect my BX several months ago now. He had a genuine excuse as to why he couldn't collect the weekend that he planned to, and I have been holding it for him for a long time. Has anybody seen or spoken to him? I was under the impression when I last spoke to him that he still wanted the car, and that he would be collecting it within the next few weeks after that time. I did say to him that he didn't need to rush, but with the lack of contact I am genuinely concerned about him. He was a regular poster on here too, but I think there was only one post about a week after I last spoke to him. I have sent a few PM's, emails, tried calling but his phone is off, and I have sent a text several days ago, delivery still pending.

Essentially, this is a message to Dave, and to anyone else who may have heard from him, asking whether he still wants the GT. I have had to pay another £75 for 3 months parking, and I am moving away from this area at the end of November, so I really really need it shifted. If I haven't heard from Dave (mountainman) by Saturday, the GT is going to have to go on Ebay with no reserve.

Hi guys. This is getting desperate now. I have someone coming to get the car this weekend, but have explained the situation to them and they are happy to not take it if I hear that Mountainman still wants the car before Saturday PM. Please, if anyone knows anything about Dave's whereabouts please get in touch. I've been holding onto it for much longer than I thought I would have to.

Cheers, Adam

Adamski... there's a perfect short-nose bonnet in the correct colour here for that GT if it would be of use...

Unfortunately as Adam has lost his storage for the GT and he was very desperate he and I have come to a agreement, I collected it on a car trailer today and the GT is now sat nice and warm in my garage at Leech towers awaiting the MOT and accident repairs to start tomorrow (monday)

Be assured the car is in safe hands and will return to the road in the new year and very possibly back to adam if his circumstances allow.

No offence like, but with the turnover at Leech Towers I doubt the GT will remain in possesion long enough to make the national!

Polish is ok, but you're nothing till you've had a BX mullered by a bovine!

Lol trust me, if this GT does find another home it will only be to a club member, and Adam has first refusal on the car. Those other bxs that have been bought and sold this year were all destined for the scrap yard and most of them have remained within the club and have loving new homes 8)
