BX17 Turbo for sale (hopefully almost free)

A friend of mine has what might turn out to be a derelict 17TD. He describes the engine as noisy and has a failed MOT on 2 counts - leaky height adjuster and (what he describes) a small amount of rot on the front. I have not seen it.
