£100 TZD!!! potential bargain

Post by nstarmore »

just seen this sitting on ebay

clicky

Seems like someone could get a bargain, looks a bit rough around the edges but would probably clean up nicely...shame its too far away to take a chance for me...the only thing that bothers me is, why not chuck it through an MOT and give it a clean then sell it for a couple hundred more?

I think that it looks reasonably good.

The reason that they won't give it a wash and a MOT is because they're simply not interested. Probably was a trade in and they most likely gave stuff all for it and want stuff all back.
Just move it along, you know?

I think you're right Michael. They don't even want to spare half an hour and £40 getting it MOT'd. There's more profit to made elsewhere in their car lot.

Looks OK - great for the money.

It would help if they had put up more pictures and gave a proper description. But I think that proves the point -- they just want to shift it.

It was definately priced to clear.

Reasonable car for not a lot of money. I doubt it though that it went to an enthusiast (although I may be wrong), but I suspect that it went to someone who saw the pricetag not what the car was, you know "drive the car until it stops, not ever doing anything to it and then buy another".

Just goes to show that in the UK there's a market for these cars, outside the enthusiasts.

Not over here, A car can be for sale for years and not be sold.
