Car (4 wheels & engine) required cheap or free for nurse

Post by M » Mon Oct 29, 2007 4:36 pm

One of my nurses has become car-less following the terminal cam belt failiure of her RovahDog 100 (metro).

To be honest, its a right royal pain in the bum having her without a car as I'm having to re jig clinic timetables so she can get there on foot, or take her myself. The upshot is she is a single mum of 3 and has bugger all money to buy something else, so if anyone knows of anything cheap or free that will do her till the New Year (when she will be off to Carpcraft or Yes car credit or something to sell her soul for a Mundaneo) I would be very very grateful as it would make my life a lot bloody easier.

Cheers.

Unfortunately you'll struggle due to high scrap prices Marty. However is MOT essential (and yes, I do realise that sounds daft) as might be able to help out with a couple of candidates? One, 'allegedly', only wants minor welding work for test.

Car Crap and the like aren't especially bad for credit charges but they do sell ex-auction cars at highly inflated prices. Still a million miles better than any main stealer though.
