Window winders

Post by djoptix »

I'm looking for whatever I'll need to change the front windows to winding ones instead of electric ones. Advice appreciated!

All you need then is a handle, and a manual window reg.
Actually if your careful you can remove the motor and fit the manual gear to the same regulator, but it'll be easier to just change the reg.
You'll need manual winder door cards too, or cut some holes in the cards you have.

Cant help with any manual winders though, I've never owned a poverty spec BX.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'm going to ditch the door cards, so I just need the other stuff. Anybody out there have some poverty spec BX spares?

there is a dirty rumour going round these parts that the french scrap yard in stockport has some low spec BX's in stock, not been myself so can't confirm or deny, but migth be worth a look. Its not far from the Co-op pyramid.
