I've scrapped two olymic blue BX's..
And sold one a few weeks back.
I like the red,or in my case pink.
Black's good too, as is Triton Green.
Aw to hell with it, all the colours of the rainbow are good!

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I spotted an Olympic Blue BX14 ( power that throws you back in the seat) here at a garage in very good condition, some special edition. So hop on a flight Tim, have yourself a holiday and crooze at high speed across the continent.
Red, does fade beautifully to all manner of pinks. I had a rat 2CV in several shade of dusty pink. When are we going to see the first rat BX - looking as though it's just risen up out of a field and hammering down the autobahn with lumps of moss flying off it?

Mine looked pretty much like that when I picked it up but it up, instead the clumps of moss were clumps of mud from the farm it had lived at for he past year...poor thing.toddao wrote:When are we going to see the first rat BX - looking as though it's just risen up out of a field and hammering down the autobahn with lumps of moss flying off it?

Mine is a bit like that. It still has gaffer-tape glue around the sunroof, a fair bit of the paint is peeling from the bumpers, the body is various shades of dirty white, and it's usually got several layers of road grime on it.toddao wrote:When are we going to see the first rat BX
Still drives fine, and just passed an MOT so can't be all bad!

Too late mate, I've already sold it to a friend of Chris Salter's!todd wrote:When are we going to see the first rat BX - looking as though it's just risen up out of a field and hammering down the autobahn with lumps of moss flying off it?
Why do I ALWAYS mistype that as Christ?
Pure rattiness! It must cost a fortune to get that finish

Great find! A waste though, maybe it should be put on a plinth?
It'd be better still put on the back of my truck and weighed in!TZD_Hurricane_91 wrote:toddao wrote:Pure rattiness! It must cost a fortune to get that finish
