MK1 BX16TRS Auto for sale, project car!

Post by ren16tx »

i've just been up to SW london to pick up some GS parts from an old chap,in his drive he has a Silver "C" reg BX16TRS Auto,it has no windows in the rear pillars,
It is rough, passenger door is rusted and bashed,as is the front wing, the tailgate also has holes,
in changing the head,a bolt sheared off,so it wants machanical work, although the engine itself is ment to be good, last on the road in 2006,
the car needs work,needs some panels,and machaical work,interior seems good,no sunroof,its a project car,but i think a worth while project,i think its too good to break,but....
He won't give it away, but is open to offers, i have no pics (as i didn't know about this car!) but can give you his number if interested,(i will be in vietnam between 19/1 to 10/2,so contact me before or after!)
He also has a RHD DS23 efi pallas, currently standing in Norfolk he would concider selling, a DS23 engine, and 3 part GS engines cheap!

So essentially it's a 16 auto that needs fairly serious bodywork, fairly serious engine work, hasn't been on the road for 2 years and has no tax or MOT.

And he wants money for it?
this might be a signature

Being a Series one yes its rare but with that amount of work its worthless really, I has a very similar car a couple of years ago which started and ran and needed little work for a MOT and struggled to give it away!

Shame really as someone may want it, but only as a parts car/resto job.
