FOR SALE - BX19 GTi 8v

Post by Tecar » Wed Jan 16, 2008 12:24 pm

BX19 GTi 8V
E Reg - First registered August 1987
TAXED till end of Feb and MOT'd till Feb 1 09
White
086600 miles
Rustproofed from new - hence very good underneath
Bodywork in reasonable condition. Few minor dents and scrapes - you have to look hard to see them.
ABS - that even works
Sunroof - doesn't work, but is closed and waterproof.
No air-con or alloys (before you ask  )

Work done in the last 6 months includes:
  • timing belt,
    full service,
    2 front spheres,
    front brake pads,
    rear exhaust box,
    2 front tyres,
    new clutch kit,
    repaired pedal box.
Jobs we'd do if we were keeping it:
  • replace windscreen (large chips)
    rear arm bearings
Don't really want to sell it, because it's a great toy!
Unfortunately due to circumstances changing, the car is now surplus to requirements.

Hopefully we'll find it a good home on here

£400 - but all sensible offers considered
The car is located near Wokingham.

Tecar, you'd get more interest with pictures, location and exact details of when tax/MOT run out mate. It saves various people having to pm/ask you the same questions time and again if they're interested. Good luck with the sale, the GTi is a cracking car to drive.

Thanks for that - had to get the info first.
Pics will be up ASAP.

The car is great - gave me faith in BX's again.
