all bar the current cars went years ago; there may be photos, but they will be well buried after several moves
my GS experience was for a good number of years; my father had a very early one, with probably three more; I was tempted by the original yellow magazine test car many years ago, but it was rusting too well. I don't think the owner knew what he had.
The 4x4 was written off about 8 years ago by a local on one of Devon's narrow lanes, I got rid of it as the impact had sheered off an engine mounting lug. A brave soul repaired it and guess what - the transfer box packed up. The wheels are now on my ZX -but don't go tell everyone that they fit. I fancy a set for my wife's Partner van. I did fancy the blue 4x4 recently bought by a board member, but I was on holiday and didn't have the nerve to get my wife to bid.
The 19D head gasket went just short of 200k
I'd like a TD estate - wouldn't most?
I may get to the national - Godmanchester isn't it?
Best wishes to all board members, and I'll continue lurking
Grecian - support Exeter City!

Right, settle down men. I'd just like to say that I have only known Roy Hassell for a short while but during that time I have been the recipient of great generosity from him. I have spent about £120 on parts from his list, but he has given me 3 boxes of spares absolutely free as well.
Maybe he has taken pity on the fact that I am 63 and struggling to keep a 16V, a 4x4 and a TZD all on the road at the same time. At the moment i am engaged in putting the 4x4 back on the road after a front end crash, meaning that my poor dear wife has to hold one side of the new front bumper while i use immoderate language at the other side. I have also tackled the heater tap, taking it out to get rid of the sludge and make it operate properly and putting it back in an operation more fiddly than almost anything I have ever done on any car.
Does anyone know a good osteopath?
