Ok IF we are being finicky it was in Joys dads roofed garage for a while then moved closer to home unroofed garage in front of joys school no trees
Thank you Phil for enlightening me on the state of my sale as this was the first i knew of a falling out over an issue of tax and the vehicle its a pity he didnt contact me direct as i believe it takes two parties to have a proper fallout
The last I saw of Simon was after he had given it the once over shook on £1350 further phone call was concluded with him contacting dvla and me supplying any/ info help so he could tax online he was going into a meeting and would ring later he didnt but must have had time to ring you thus the post
Sorry! found my phone with text saying he couldnt get any Joy with Dvla and surely i had insurance and if i didnt tax it forget it timed 22.30

Fair enough. I just wanted to see her sold on as you indeed want. It's none of my business I guess. I sincerely hope the negotiations result in a mutually agreeable result!

After all, I wasn't doubt on either you or the potential buyer's integrity.

Good luck.

Nice of simon to tell us he had bought a 16v and wasnt intrested in our green one ( it wouldnt have bothered me either way it just would have been nice to know whats going on) .
If id had know this i would have sold the green one to the pug boys instead of giving him first refusal to come and have a look at ours.
The citroen bx loves garages hates driving

The 205 boys aren't even interested in buying this at the moment it seems.

Still for sale after several months, been on ebay and pistonheads a few times but nothing apart from timewasters who want to haggle before even seeing it in the flesh.

Unfortunatly the so called "credit crunch" is affecting everything and people I find just arent buying non necessities as the hype has scared them all to death, plus its getting nearer to the "C" word! Best to hang fire with it until the spring and see what happens.

Its gonna get worse - TBH its going to be a good couple of years before the so called credit crunch (lets call it an economic recession - because thats what it is) improves to the point where the majority of us have lots of spare cash to throw about. I was going to get a new car, but decided to use the money that I was going to put towards that to clear some longer term debts that I have. Im not prepared to take on any additional debt at this time as I fully expect fuel and food prices to rise again in the near future. Boom & Bust economy - innit brilliant! TBH I think we shoud go back to a susistance economic structure rather than fiscal structure. But then I think we should all live in stone cottages, have wood burning stoves and keep pigs. But there you go.

With you all the way there, Marty!
I've spent most of the past 30 years dreaming of getting a croft on the Isle of Skye!!! These days, with WiFi broadband etc., you can even run a small home-based business from a little cottage (or "black-house" as they are sometimes called in the Hebrides).
I doubt that I will ever fulfil this dream, but it;'s still there!!

Ah, well my dream is a smallholiding in Cumbria - Somewhere round Penrith for preference - its a pretty exacting dream, it has to have a well, running water by means of a stream - something I can try and power a small generator from - enough land for a willow coppice ( to fuel the wood burner), orchard, room to grow my own fruit and veg and enough land for some hens and pigs - possibly a couple of sheep too.

Sadly though its probably not going to happen - mainly because Mrs and Kids seem to attached to suburban life and creatcher comforts to give it up and live somewhere where water takes a while to heat up.

If I had the money, and if I for a moment K could actually drive it without killing herself in minutes I'd rip your arm off for that car mate.
I did actually toy with the idea of throwing a D6C in her 205 a while ago, but I'm convinced it would kill her, so I didn't.
Shame though, I really like the 205, and yours looks like a stunner.

Same for Rob's valver, the best colour, and an honest well known car. Again, if I didn't have a valver already, and too many other projects that would be living in Stroud without a doubt.

Oh for a lottery win.....
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
