I have a spare rear passenger door like that one,
(but without the dents) from an H reg BX16V.

It is a bit hard to tell if it is the exact colour, but it probably is.

Does the aircon work on the one for sale?

It might be clever now, but it won't be in the morning!

This is the same one as is now listed on Retro Rides and Piston Heads .............. I am trying my hardest to find a more legit buyer via other sources before resorting to Ebay ................!

Sadly, you might have to resort to eBay... Unfortunately this is a pretty poor time to sell a performance petrol car - holidays, credit difficulties, fuel prices etc. I counted myself lucky that I found a decent buyer for my 16v - and I got a fair price too - and that was via eBay...

Alternatively be very flexible on price (don't misunderstand me - I believe that car is probably worth at least £750) and consider offers?

To be fair, we are flexible on price - but no one has even been tempted to haggle with me (although one bloke via Piston Heads offerred to swap it for his BMW 316...............!!!). I guess we know we wont get £1000 for it, but I dont want to say £800 or something and then get battered down on price to silly money. The wretched Ebay is calling I feel..........

Shame as my Dad really wants this car. :(

No way we have that much money spare at the moment though.

Best of luck to you with the sale.

Any form of advertising helps, i would have thought quite a few people would trawl through that, to find unusual cars. Did you try that classic car website i mentioned previously?

Having seen what some have gone for I think you could almost double that.

Yes, maybe (and hopefully) Billy, but remember the bodywork and the mileage... Oh. and the choice available at the mo. Just being realistic...

I would second Phils thoughts on value.
You have to think about the valvers that have made the magic £1000 they have either ben exceptional examples or bought by people desparate to get hold of one and who have not had many to choose from.

Jeez how far! :O eleventy squillion miles!

if it wasnt so far, I'd be clawing up piggy bank remains and making an offer.

If you get stuck with it and want it gone, let me know what you'll take, i'd get in to trouble for this... :-k
The O/H is sick of hearing about BX's! :( And aparently Xantias are 'Didsbury cars' LOLZ
