Wanted trims or alloys
Hi
As some may know I'm picking up a GTi auto next month. It has non-original trims ('fraid they don'y ring my bell either) and wonderd if anyone had a good condition set of four? The style I could go for are the original (rattly. I know) GTi/TZD 'domed' type ('90-'92 era) or 'Z' type flat ones. Alternatively I'd consider a good, unbuckled (I've had a lot of trouble in the past with alloys impossible to balance) alloys: 5.5" silver ones as the 185 Michelins on the car are staying!
Will pay and travel a bit too...
Anyone?

Erm , I mnight get shot for saying this, but any car that comes in for scrap that has trims ends up with the trims, and any other plastic bits going on the bonfire.
I do have a set of 5.5J alloys in silver though.
They aint mine, they are owned by DLM, but they are for sale, and knowing Dave it'll be a very nominal sum if thats of any use?

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Interested, Doc. Logistics is the problem, but I'm in no rush. I would need them to be complete with bolts and centre caps - and in good condition too (fussy bugga!) - ohm and round (I've had so much trouble with out-of-shape BX alloys)...
If Dave (or you on his behalf) wants to PM me, we can sort out a deal....

Bugger the edit button, mistakes FTW!
They are round, have centre caps and two of them have good tyres, cant remember what the other two are like.
I'll take a piccy tomorrow inbetwixt gutting a Tiger...
I'll get hold of Dave and see what he wants for them.

Recent scruffy diesel n/a estate - "The Red Shed" - is no longer mine. - x 9
There'll be bolts - if not with the wheels then I'll have them here in Hampshire (suspect they ended up in the spares box when I broke the car at the Doc's). The two with decent tyres are wearing Pirellis (the other tyres are FUBARed in that rear-arm way). Guess that's irrlelvant if you have Muichelin 185s. Not out-of-round to the best of my knowledge - no problems whatsoever with vibration when in use.
As for condition, the best guide will be a photo - if I can find a picture of them on Silver Machine before breaking I'll let you know.

Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.
