Little bits wanted

Post by Aerodynamica »

Hi chapz, my new purchase needs some parts!

Tailgate struts are useless - I mean really useless!

I need one of the little string things to raise the parcel shelf with the hatch. One is missing.

Anyone with a spare off side rear light cluster will be my friend too :D

So I guess these won't fit?

A bit pricey too, but...

While looking I saw this: might be worth picking up. Even if just to guarantee you'll never need it (as so often happens!)

Thanks guys, I spotted the ebay stuff but I'm not up for NOS expensiveness..

None of these are critical: the rear light has a broken bit (side part not the actual 'lens' - purely aesthetic.

I can bodge the string thing with a bit of string :)

and I have a pole in the boot to prop up the tail gate so it's fine really

I think only the internal bit (bit with the lamps etc) is different on Mk1s. You may be able to change just the lens body. If this is true, I've got some here you can have for postage cost.
They think it's all over, it is now!

Ken's right, the lens is the same. It's only the bulb holder that's different.

I'm not helping you with anything, as I'm still far too jealous of you owning that car!
