Im a steelies man myself. Steel wheelz and trimz = FTW, cheaper to mend when involved in a Joanne driving up a kerb at 40 mph incident.

Yes, they'll be the "bloody awful" alloys as made by "really horrid alloys R us of Bedminster Ltd"!

Speedlines FTW, anything else FTL
I Would disagree with you there Mr G a nice set of metric wheels are lovely on the right model. 8)
Good call, I keep forgetting about them!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Chris (carter-Stevens),

im bidding on this as following the accident I need an automatic, Im not going to be rude and ask people not to bid against me, if someone else wants it and bids more than I do, then fine - I have a budget and Im sticking to it - at the end of the day its an MOT-less BX with issues so really only valued at scrap in its current state ( I know Billy will probbly argue that against me, but thats my opinion!!).
It will be many weeks before Im driving again anyway. I thought I would be able to manage a manual, but experience has dictated otherwise.

But, if I do win it and someone wants to swap the alloys for steelies with trims and half decent rubber then thats perfectly OK by me.

I don't argue with you at all Marty, and afterall you're planning on getting it back on the road which is surely what BXC is all about? Plus I have sold my truck now so until I get another one I don't care about scrap prices

I'm sure you'll find some steels if you win the listing mate, it's possible I still have some here which you'd be more than welcome to matey.

Noooooooooo

What I meant is that you place a value on a car without an MOT, wheras to me its value is always scrap unless its very very very rare, then perhaps its worth a fiver more - Its probaby the hint of Yorkshire shop keeper I have in my blood.

Chris, f it comes to pass, then you are welcome to the alloys, no money need change hands if they are replaced with steelies as I really dont like alloy wheels, even 14's off a Xantia would be fine.

Oh aye, certainly do M. Funny though since scrap prices dropped I'm getting offered all kinds of cars with no MOT for silly money and people are still saying 'scrapman will pay £150/£200/whatever for it'.
Oh no they bleeding won't sunshine!
