1990 TZD Turbo Hatch

Post by optimus primer »

Hi, firstly sorry for my first post being in for sale but where better to sell my BX than on here?

I bought this a 3 weeks ago as an emergency whilst my bug was off the road having work done, that's all now complete so time to move it along.

1990 (H) TZD turbo hatch, 176000 miles, usual TZD electric bits that all work. Remote central locking via the cat 1 alarm (2 key fobs) MOT until 31st July 2009, Tax until the end of Feb 09. Goes very well, I was surprised how quick it was! It had 4 new tyres not long ago. Both front spheres were replaced a month ago.

It has had a knock in the drivers door, large dent but doesnt affect the window or how the door works. missing fog light in the bumper. Bits of rust here and there, worst bit is on the sill where there is a hole about an inch square. The rear arm bearings need doing as the bang about a bit. Paint a bit dull in places

I bought the car off someone who was doing a rally to Morrocco so it must be ok if he was planning to go that far in it!

Looking for £275 for it, car located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

(Bonnet was open on this pic)

My wife has asked - does the sale include the teddy bear?!

I'm more interested in when the cambelt was last done and whether you have any shots of the hole in the sill.

no teddy I'm afraid, but if its a deal clincher I'll find one ;)

No idea on the cambelt, I didnt get any history with the car other than the mot's since 2001.

I will get some pics tomorrow of the nasty areas

I might be tempted by this if my workaday AX turns out to have f***ed it's suspension when I slid sideways into a bank in the ice. I won't know that til the end of next week though, by which time it will no doubt be too late. Bugger.
