Well some slightly stale information from an American I met who was involved in sourcing auto parts from P.R. China (mainland China) was that when their factories were new, their products were as good as anywhere else, but (some years back) they lacked the engineers to maintain that quality. That's probably improved now - if you don't think so, check out the exchange rate! 1999 it was 13.5 to the £, right now it's 9.86590. I can't see where these guys are based, if it's a Taiwan, or Hong Kong company, I shouldn't worry, or if they sell to the US. They're probably making half the parts for new Citroens anyway.

Citroen STILL ahead in the looks department after 20 years then:
"Chinese C2 is a facelifted Peugeot 206 which actually looks a lot better than the Peugeot 206"
