My local (50 miles away!) scrayard has a red (not pink!) TZD estate being broken. Already claimed are the front wings, O/S/R door and HP pump. It's a bit late notice but I am going there tomorrow, and can remove bits if there is any demand. I'll have to restrict it to easy to remove stuff, and I have very little dry storage at the moment though.
If you are interested, let me know your phone number and I can let you know a price when I get there. As an example, a door is £20 and HP pump is £10.
Oh, and Jonathan, the engine looked very clean...about 170k though. Not a million miles away in Ruabon.

Mat, if its a turbo model, i need the black plastic top cowling that is attached to the front bulkhead which holds the rad in place. The bonnet pole, thingamerjigery or whatever its called sits in it. Only if its not bust though please. I've been trying to get hold of one of these for over a year now, its one part i need to get my tzd back on the road this year....
If he wants more than a fiver dont bother, hopefully it'll be pence. I'll be away on my hols tomorrow lunchtime so wont be able to get back to you for over a week if thats ok? I'll sort out payment asap.
Cheers Matthew

Thanks Mat.
The seat is destined for a his and hers car - so it must be adjustable for height and rake in the interests of Bx and marital harmony. The trim is unimportant - as you say - it can be changed over to the good seat mechanism.

John, PM sent.
MULLEY, I'm 99% sure the black trim is intact, I thought the rad was new and started to remove it to check. It wasn't new, but the whole engine bay looked as though it had been steam cleaned, perhaps to try and sell the car before they scrapped it. No obvious signs of why it had been scrapped...

Well, unfortunately someone had stood on one of the wings, the other was slightly dented behind the indicator, the rad support/bonnet rod holder was broken and the driver's seat was stiff...Apart from that we got a tidy OSR door, and a decent HP pump. The car really was tidy, here are a few photos.
It was great to meet up with jonathan_dyane also, hope you had a good jouney back!

Aye, it was sad to see the car in the yard, the bodywork had very little tinworm and I swear I recognised the registration number from somewhere...
Great to meet you too Mat; hope you didn't get too much of a bollocking when you got back
Many thanks for the wheels too.
