Well, I've been down to the local diesel injection specialist and fell in love. An old-time engineering workshop of the sort one rarely sees nowadays. The place was spotless and well-ordered and the chap himself is an engineer to his fingertips. We had a pleasant hour chatting about all sorts of things, and I shall go and swap the injectors next month when the pay-cheque comes through.
I don't mind spending the money when it goes to support local independents with that level of expertise - somehow it doesn't seem as painful as giving GSF your credit card details.
I'll keep you updated.

Its good to get into a proper engineering place isnt it, the fellows who do my head skimming etc is like that, huge old machinery and really knowledgable blokes, If they get interested in your project things become cheaper too If you need a set of injectors for exchange so you will not be off the road I can post you a set for the cost of postage.
