Not as much as HE was Kev - but a combination of factors meant that the logistics of keeping a mechanically sophisticated car in tip-top condition was going to be impossible in the longer term.Defender110 wrote:I was suprised when Bob (Linegeist) sold up though.
Ha! I went the other way! Had a Xantia in the late nineties, and it was the least reliable car I've ever had - in fact in nearly thirty years of driving cheap or free cars it's the only one I've ever paid proper money for (it was only four years old), the only one I've ever lost money on when it came time to sell it, and the only one to break down properly and leave me stranded and unable to bodge it home (snapped cambelt leading to snapped camshaft on a slip road of the Peripherique in Paris).Roverman wrote: The ususal line ive had when people have offered me cars for sale is they have updated to a Xantia!
Somebody has got too much time on his hands now he's BXless!Linegeist wrote:mat_fenwick wrote:My BX is continuing to rack up 15-20k miles a year, and I see no reason why that should not continue.
