Rear numberplate blazer for sale
From my last BX, I have for sale (if anyone's interested) a rear number blazer (the red bit around the numberplate).
See image to left <---- for the actual part I'm talking about. It's in good condition.

Re: Rear numberplate blazer for sale
Yes it is in one piece, they appear to be quite brittle plastic things, so was very careful removing it from the car, it does however have a slight crack in it, but it is not visible attached to the car, unless you get really really close, and look really really carefuly!Tim Leech wrote:is it in one piece and un-damaged?

SOLD!Birotor wrote:How would sixty pounds strike you?
Though that's too much I'm sure! Turn up in a BX to collect it and have it for £50.
When can you collect? And where are you coming from for that matter... it's at my parents so I could bring it to mine near Bromley if easier. If not I'm there Friday evening and maybe some point over the weekend.

Re: Rear numberplate blazer for sale
I think just friendly amusement that we sorted the sale out in short order with no messing about. Usually on the forum it takes several pages of every one having their say!
I currently have the dreaded lurgi and can hardly see to type! I will send you a "PM" with my e mail address, you respond and we'll exchange telephone numbers and I'll get up for it pronto!

Oh right! I assume these tail blazer things are like hens teeth. But then didn't imagine anyone would want it either! Had it in storage quite a while.Birotor wrote:I think just friendly amusement that we sorted the sale out in short order with no messing about. I think she was alluding to your hand being bitten off!
You don't by any chance happen to have a shed full of sunroof wind deflectors, front centre arm rests and boot cubby hole lids do you? If so you could probably retire early and buy a nice place in the sun.

There's a "she" in the BX club?! Name? I don't think I've ever been so impressed!mat_fenwick wrote:I think she was alluding to your hand being bitten off!
No sunroof wind deflectors, but my last bx had a perfect working un-leaking sun roof, and boot cubby hold lid was still unbroken and in place! Im sure they're dead easy to repair though.mat_fenwick wrote:You don't by any chance happen to have a shed full of sunroof wind deflectors, front centre arm rests and boot cubby hole lids do you? There's a few 'she' members actually Ed - so you'll have to drag your other half to some meetings so we can indoctrinate her into the ways of the BX too.

Mrs Ed is not entirely convinced by BXs yet. She still thinks the Ami 6 is the best thing ever. Okay maybe I have been more impressed before!Dollywobbler wrote:There's a few 'she' members actually Ed - so you'll have to drag your other half to some meetings so we can indoctrinate her into the ways of the BX too.
