Re: Poor brakes
When you bled the brakes, did you pay attention to the bubbles that were in the lhm? or were you just checking for the lhm to be the correct colour?

Re: Poor brakes
We had issues with the plastic pipe, so didn't use any (it was too bloody cold!). There was a definite airy pop when one nipple was opened.
Re: Poor brakes
yes Ian it is the only way to bleed the rear's on all hydraulic citroens as it will give full flow/pressure to the rear calipersDollywobbler wrote:That's a top tip. Does having it on high make the car think there's a high load in the rear then? I guess it probably does. I'm tempted to have another go at bleeding the rear now, though I'll try and do the doseur (and test) first.
i didnt know that one, i think it depends on if you press the brake pedal all the way or just gentlyVanny wrote:Doing this when bleeding the fronts will apparently emulfisy the LHM!

Re: Poor brakes
Can I still this thread?
I have a (or two) stupid questions!
It's about bleeding brakes!
My compensator has a bleed spot; My question is should I 1st open the bleed screw from the compensator and then bleed the brakes?
Should I open the compensator for all the 4 wheels? :/
Sorry for steeling it!

Re: Poor brakes
Don't worry António, you may share my thread! I don't know the answer though...
Re: Poor brakes
no and no just threat it as a fifth bleed point just one at a time,António Miranda wrote:Can I still this thread?

if you open the bleed screw on the doseur you will not get any pressure going to the rest of the system/brake circuit
