Bourne identity, Paris car chase
Hi folks just noticed a few BX's being trashed in the Paris car chase scene of the Bourne Identity... Not pretty but also see some impressive handling talent as they swerve out of the way! Very stable and hardly any wallow! Well a wee bit maybe

Re: Bourne identity, Paris car chase
Yes I noted that action when I watched the film. There are some very good car chases in French based films, no dubbing or cheating. Unlike Hollywood Americana offerings, which have just become tediously stupid over time. They will be recasting Bullet next, which is one of the best movie car chases of all. The Italian Job, dear, oh dear!
Anyway on a more light hearted note the link is not BX, but is Citroen, and a classic bit of 2CV action greatly robbed for the James Bond car chase. I leave you to choose which you prefer.

And I seem to recall that Ronin sees off at least one BX and has XMs going faster than I've ever seen one move before!

And in Ronin there's the only XM that has parking brake with a lever instead of a pedal!deltic wrote:Ronin

. . . and an XM that's a mk1 in one scene, amazingly turns itself into a mk2 in another scene and then turns back into a mk 1 again for another scene. What an amazing car!
