BX TZD 1.9 turbo diesel hatchback for sale.
Pictures taken and it`s looking good. What doesn`t look good is the fact I`ve (read my kids) lost my cable from digital camera to pc
Do my best to find it afterwards and will post up when done. MOT wise all I know of are tyres (minimum of three, probably all four), ABS sensor (thought to be a wire) and a seatbelt clip BUT... as I`ve not taken it for test yet I cannot and will not rule out anything else, this is just what `ve spotted.
Someone`s coming Saturday to have a look so if you want to view then anytime after that is fine.
Seeing as you appear to live in the same fair city as I do you`re probably not too far away incidentally.

I wouldn`t recommend not telling the insurance company, it`s not worth the risk and if they find out it will invalidate your cover and you could really be up shit creek without a paddle.
I can`t see the fact that it`s a 1.9 as opposed to a 1.7 making a huge difference and would imagine insurance to be about the same as a Xantia 1.9TD though obviously it`s best to phone round first for some quotes.
I`m about one mile from the M53, Matt, on the west side of Chester if that helps?

Modified car with a bigger engine than any fitted by the manufacturer. Modded brakes, Alloys? You will need a specialist insurer. No high street company will touch it. Flux will be your best bet if you are old, a householder, member of a car club, and able to pay the premium in one lump sum. (They do a payments plan but is is ridiculously expensive.)
If you are not these things, forget it because for the premium you are about to be quoted, you'll be able to buy much better than a
BX. Tell us anyway, give us old men a good laugh.

Norwich Union : £2778.64
Direct Line : £2898.03
Elephant : £2907.51
And my personal favorite....
Zurich : £6555.92
Standard TD 1.7 would be £553.22, my xantia is currently £1717.30, hence the need for a change. Before the points it was £417. Ridiculous isn't it?
You'd think I'd gone on a rampage with a bulldozer, not got 6 points for bad tracking / tyre wear. Gutted.
Sorry cav...will have to pass on it. I'm in Saltney by the way...are you Saughall way?
Will still keep looking - if anyone see's a nice TD anywhere could they let me know?
Thanks...
Matt.

Call me an old cynic but I wonder whether they might not be too keen to insure you for that car . Insurers don't like modifications.
