I am he!!!
I got a job lot of parts from a well known BX specialist who is getting rid of most of his stock. Id try not to sell on here too much as I understand its a bit out of order, but I did offer stuff like hubcaps (nothing worse than a BX with Halfraud trims!!) on the for sale section.
It's a working hobby, I can pay for my cars by buying and selling all types of Citroens mainly XM's and Xantia's. I do at least one BX a month not grreat money but I've had some beauties recently I've put some pics up on the map thing you have
I work with another guy who has years of experience and teaches me loads of stuff I love what I do. I have a different BX each month this month I have a TZi Estate.

A TZi estate? A rare enough beast. Don't suppose it's an auto, with a/c and in very good condition (not 'for it's age' - I mean, 'Very Good Condition'! )
Thought not. Ah well, I'll keep looking.... Mind you, tell me if I'm wrong! Welcome to the Forum BTW.

Hi Phil
Its an Auto four headrests, ABS, one touch drivers window etc. but no aircon. I do have a complete set but i'll just sell it off as it's probably not worth the hassle of retro fitting.
I've just done the fuel pipes and ABS looms for the MOT. It would look great with some alloy wheels....

Welcome to the forum Leroy,
I'm sure you'll make a most valuable contribution. I've had you on my eBay favourite sellers list for some time --- you certainly get through some interesting stuff. I remember you bought a BX diesel down here in Southampton at the beginning of the year.
Do you by any chance have any struts or slide bearings amongst the stock you're selling at the moment ?
David

Hello mate,
That car you mentioned was absoloutly excellent. It needed an ignition barrel, changed the cambelt and that was it. It even had four headrests and michelins all round. For some reason when I buy a BX it always seems to be better than described. A 14TGE I bought was advertised on ebay as having no tax or MOT but when I turned up it had 4 months left...
BX's are selling well in London and where I live now in Brighton there are 11 I have counted. Other Citroen Specialists testify to Eastbourne and Bournemouth as other hotbeds of BX's... The models people seem to be interested in is the BX 14 and the BX 19 estate. I was amazed at the response from people when I put my 19TXD in the loot. It went for £600 no quiblling.
anyway in answer to your question I have some very good front struts for £40 a pair...
cheers mate

Well done you on the Southampton BX purchase, It just goes to show that there are some great bargains to be had. I bought a BX19TRS automatic down around Bournemouth for a song and it was in quite good condition, especially cosmetically. Can I take up your offer on the struts. I will send a pm about it.

My latest purchase was the 16 TRS with 35,000 miles on ebay a month ago. Again described as needing new spheres it needed the height corrector adjusting at the front. Lovely car smells like new.
The 19TRS was the first BX i ever owned lovely car very quick. Loved the spoiler at the back too..

You certainly get some lucky breaks ! I've had my 19TRS for years and years, it's proved to be really reliable. I suppose I should really get a diesel sometime --- I will if I ever find myself having to commute any distance.

Whatever luck I get in BX's is compensated by my bad luck with XM's...
Whenever I have had an XM for more than a month as my own car, they develop issues with the cooling system. if I had a bl**dy pound for every time that damned engine water level sign came up I'd be very rich..
I commute from London to Brighton everyday, I need reliability and the BX and Xantia are the proper tools for the job. Only thing is the Xantia really doesn't say much looks wise, though is a very good car the BX is the perfect compromise.
Diesels are really good news I just sold my DTR Turbo which was extremley good fun i'd really advise getting one of those..
