Euro Car Parts do not regas spheres themselves, they just happen to have bought a number of regassed spheres which they are selling cheaply. How much do you have to pay to have the special valve fitted to enable regassing ?

1) I used it once, it blocked all my filters up. Probably needed it though!
2) New spheres, no question.
3) I think its because theres something behind the dash that would be in the way if it were fitted to the left of our UK dashes. Maybe something on the bulkhead....there ain't much space there.
4) Not so much. I know my dad had his old BX snap a cable a couple of times (1983 16TRS) but I've never had a problem.
5) Electric drivers side mirrors were standard on 16v's after early 1990. Before that they were manual on drivers side, eleccy on passengers side. Mines a post January 1990 Car and has two electric mirrors, the drivers one is heated.
6) All 16v seats have "lumbar" adjustment. But as you probably know, the leather seats were based on the GTi ones so no adjustment and alot less support. Still cool though
7) All 16v's have electric rear windows over here. Aswell as GTi's, TZ's and TR's.
Oh and that heater control panel job.......pure brilliance mate, possibly the best interior mod I've seen to a BX. Keep us posted on that.

I fitted BX standard air conditioning to mine and I know how much work it is!
Well done to fit XM system.
Citroen fitted only one electric mirror to most top model BXs. If you want a left hand one, you are in the right country because one of us will have one if you need it. We will also have people who want a Right hand one for the same reason! I wonder what postage cost is, but I think it will not be too much.
Spheres were once 100 Euros so they got regassed. Now they are 30 euros and we don't bother.
Hydrorincage is the right stuff. Use it every five years and change after 3000Km. It is good.

TOM: I have one el. mirror (right side) and it's enought for me. But it's really rare to have BX with both el. mirrors
Kitch: If I'll have some another crazy idea (like the digi clima), I'll inform you
ellevie: I don't know the price, 'cause I don't care about regas. I find it very poor selection, but sometimes some people are running out of money....you know..
I regas my spheres ONETIME... and NEVERMORE... after 4 month was my BX like tractor, great experience:lol:
I know, that it depends on the sphere's shape (exactly membrane), but new spheres are new...

One thing I noticed is that on the G reg 16v I had, the switch had to left/right toggle but the car only had one electric mirror. I thought maybe a manual had been fitted at some point, but apparently thats actually correct.
Both the H reg 16v's have twin electric mirrors. Not sure if any other models had twin leccy mirrors, I'll consult my brochures

I wondered when this would come up. Guys, Darja is a girl's name.
But I absolutely agree with this. That's an amazing piece of work.BXer of the month award! no competition.
