Another 12 months!
My 1990 16TGS auto just sailed through another MOT. No advisories and a consensus that I am lucky to have a 'beautiful example' that will 'take you anywhere that will, mate'
Chuffed and relieved. And it's got a new tax disc to match. I've started using her more frequently now. Averaging about 400 miles a month at the moment. So 30,000 will come up around November/December at this rate. Better take it easy!

Shoving a new Outer CV boot on her o/s this weekend, as the one that's on is badly split. Apart from that I think she's "good to go" (as our friends across the Pond say!)

£60 is exactly the right price to pay for a good BX. I payed exactly that for my DTR turbo about a year ago, and it recently went through an MOT with only a minor advisory. But I am now paying for that cheekiness. I may have umpteen spare alternators, but getting the old one out is thus-far proving to be a pain.

Still, its a very cheap, very original, low miles diesel albeit povvyspec. Still after an OE type wireless if anyone can help out
