CHECK VERY CAREFULLY FOR RUST!
Especially the rear chassis legs, boot floor, rear end of the sills, the rear axle and the floorpan inboard of the back end of the front subframe..

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Nah mate, Hurricane's are known to corrode MUCH more than any other BX for two reasons.
I've had two, and they were both holier than the vatican.
Your valver has just suffered for a lack of waxoyl underneath, alot of BX's are crusty underneath, it's not uncommon..

Nah, it was more to do with the amount of time they were stored before sale, and where they were stored.
and the lack of decent underseal....
They may as well have kept them in the north sea!

Silver, mostly (if not all saloons) and all had sepcial trims. They also had months of sitting in a boggy field apparantly and consequently electrics made their own mind up at random times and the bodywork disintegrated quicker than an Iveco van left on a beach for more than twenty seconds.
Back o/t the rescue mission for this Hurricane is being formulated: watch this space!

My mate smiffy had one. It was ripe, and totally shagged out, but it was great! I loved it! Had a certain charm about it.tim leech wrote:Havent seen a commander in years,
Rob, nice work with the underseal, I just get the air line out when I can be arsed and smother everything in waxoyl. Messy, but cheap!
