I have to say that my little VW Caddy is one of the most useful and fun vehicles i've ever had. Who'd have thought 1.6 litres of non turbo diesel lump could give you such a grin
The harlequin Polos were a stupid Idea, I was working for Veedub when they came out, most of them were repainted one colour (pistachio green) as noone bought them surprisingly enough!

I didn't know that! No wonder they are so rare, I knew they were a limited edition but could never ever understand why they were quite so rare even when new, now I know, I'll have to make it my mission to track one down I think, although last time I checked they were still typical VW prices (for too high)
Hmm £1000 isn't that bad actually, although I, like cavmad don't buy into the Germanic VW quality thing you pay the extra for the badge from experience. 'VW: A great engine wrapped in rust.'*

I sell VWs for a living amd shant bore you with the price arguement, but with everything in life you get what you pay for.
Presumably the answer is RIPPED OFF since all new car prices are a rip off!
I'll stick with my rust free reliable 16 year old french car, makes more financial sence.
Mine not rust free but I have to be honest and say I doubt I would put X amount of thousands of pounds into a new car when older cars just as reliable cars can be had for next to nothing.
